I think that is a protype they never made. If you look close at the grille and headlights, they look like cardboard. Also the hood looks like a '74 hood. Could even be the prototype for the Venuzualian '74 Charger.

I was lookin up pics for 73 charger SE's on yahooo or google and that popped up the pic looks dated by its surroundings i was thinkin prototype maybe? those parking like looks like dodge challenger style ones :yesnod: cool tho the thought that maybe there mighta been an R/T when the charger was in its last years as a muscle car

Ghoste

Could just be a styling exercise to see what it would look like too.  By 73, the time of real RT's was obviously over but the era of decal performance was just shifting into high gear.

Clay mock up @ Highland Park.

Ghoste

Exactly, just trying different tape schemes to see what looks good.  I'd bet the other side of the car had a completely different stripe on it.

I agree, If you look at the rear wheel. It doesn't sit right. Then notice where the K frame is and there seems to be a pole of some sort holding up the car.
I'm smarter than I act, But I don't act smarter than I am.

It also doesn't appear to have an interior or clear glass on the passenger side.

TUFCAT

This styling exericise must have been done pretty early because there's no impact absorbing bumper. :2thumbs:  It does have 72 marker lights.

BROCK

Also passenger side glass is flat black

I'd like to see the car behind it too :2thumbs:

If they were just looking a stripe ideas, I could see them not hanging bumpers on it.  Only guessing though, I really don't squat about how did any of that.
