i just pulled my gauge cluster out and I'm kind of annoyed at the fact that the whole cluster is wired into the wiring harness. i was thinking that it would be nice if all the gauges and lights were wired into one connector that could be disconnected. is there someone making a kit for this or are there at least a place i can buy a large disconnect that can handle all the wires? i was thinking i have a box of connectors from random car I've parted out, but i don't wanna half @$$ anything on the charger. maybe I'll just plug all the bulbs and everything back into the cluster, but it would make it nice if i had to pull the cluster again.

I know what you mean.  Taking my 69 out was an adventure.  glad my seats were out otherwise I might have had a harder time getting it out and in.

if you go to the wreckers most new cars have 60 wire + connectors , cut out both sides & start soldering
