Perhaps this is the wrong forum, but I'm a bit curious. The LS1 is such a sweet piece of engineering (yes, a GM product   :o) and people have done some crazy stuff with the stock longblock now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PX4NODH4uEM really got me thinking...
What about a stock 5.7 hemi out of a truck, slap a turbo/turbos on it and feed the sucker E85 (which is available at almost every gas station around here)?
How far can you go before nuking the stock bottom or the transmission?
Where could I find one online (I'm in Sweden, they don't exactly line the junkyards with Dodge Rams around here...) for a reasonable price? What IS a reasonable price?

I like the sound, they seem to pack a decent punch out of the box and it would be a fun change compared to yet another "440 in a charger" build...

Proud member of the jack stand racing team since 1999.
'70 Charger 500: "Bronson", some kind of hillbilly hot rod in progress.
'89 Chevy Caprice 9C1: "it's got a cop motor..."
