I made it to late to get bigred in the show but wifey and I did get walk down and check it out. It was a great turn out even if it was Chebby biassed. We did get to meet a great couple from the Trumbull County area who stopped by my moms house later in the evening and visited for a little while. They are the ORIGINAL and ONLY owners of the magnificent silver '68 4-speed 383 Charger. All I can say is wow, what a great looking car and what a great couple. My family and I were truly blessed to meet such an interesting couple and see such a magnificent car. I'll post the pics in a few posts, maybe 3 or 4 pics per post. Happy Memorial weekend to all of you and your familys.

Awesome pictures!  I like the last lot the best. :2thumbs:

:iagree:  Best of the bunch.

So was the silver car an original 4 barrel or 2?  The air cleaner looks like it's currently a 4?

I'm not sure if the silver '68 was a 2bbl or 4bbl. I am sure that the couple was telling us that the car was delivered from Chrysler with the wrong aircleaner assembly on it. They said just getting Chrysler to build the car was a pain, (I gussed the odd combo 383 4-speed, not many other options). When the car arrived to them it had a few incorrect annomoly's that they knew weren't correct but, left alone. They told me for sure the aircleaner was one of them, they didn't tell me what the others were! We'll be getting together sometime soon before the end of summer I'm sure, I'll ask questions!
