Yeah some of the celebs can be a little touchy about pics. I've been to lots of cons, and I've never been turned down for a picture but maybe I've always caught them in a good mood or something. I'm (hopefully) going to Comicon for the first time this summer....hoping to get some new autographs there.

Yeah there wasn't any question about the pics, they had like 50 signs hanging everywhere that said no photography.  They had her hidden in a little tent room so you couldn't even see her until you got inside...was cool meeting her though.  Yes they are looking pretty old, I guess it's been like 30 years or so since these shows were on though.  Joyce Dewitt looked about the same to me.

Cool pics Matt. I didn't know there was going to be so many stars from the past.  I saw Bo and Daisy on FOX 2 news as guests one morning last week.  Looks like it was a good time with the kids.    :2thumbs:

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

Talk about helping make a kids dream come true... Don was at the Comic Con filming the call (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkQwkhjFXYw) while we were in Ripley MS meeting with Andrew and his family (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e50PJLi8op4) making the call... yee-haw!

I am Don... I was working with the owners of the Dukes Museum. I was doing a lot of the photography around the show, and with the museum.
If you look in the background of 1 of your pics... you will see Erick Avari going into the museum for photos, and he was sigining the "Wall Of Fame".

And yes, I am from Michigan.... over near Kalamazoo.

Yeah I see him.  Welcome!! I was in the ANG over at Battle Creek for six years and spent a couple of evenings in K-zoo, pretty good time over there.  Where was the comic con party you were referring to?

ANG?  airforce national Guard at the airport?
party was at the Doubletree Hotel, for media guests, dealers, etc.
in the photo of ERick Avari. I was probably behind John or you in the photo, as he was following me into the museum. If you have a passport, there will be a Dukes show for Charity in Canada in September.... Sheriff Little (Don Pedro Colley), Strange Visitor (Felix Silla), and if he is not doing a movie at the time..stuntman Corey Eubanks are slated to be there.... AND, if they can find a car owner that wants to do it... they have General Lee rides.... I did it the last few years, but due to it being in September, this year... I can NOT get that weekend off, from work. (WE have a BIG festival that weekend, and I work at the best and biggest hotel in town.) go to CanadianDukes.com for show info.

runningman

Yep, I worked on the A-10's over at the airport.  I will check into that show, if I don't sell my timeshare pretty soon I will be getting a passport to check out the Bahamas in October so I may be able to do that Canadian show.  Thanks for the info!

Same with Erin Gray...or at least from that shot. I saw her a few weeks ago, as a guest star on a Rockford Files episode that aired sometime in 1978. Man, what a knockout she was!! :drool5:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Neal_J

What the??

Did Buck swallow that E-B-D-B robot or something?

Buck (Gil Gerard) was awesome, all weekend.  Heck of a nice and down to Earth guy. And you need to remember.. these shows were over 30 years ago. meaning guys like him are in thier 60s now...
