Boy are we hijacking this thread from poor ol' Twilt - other than the interior this looks pretty close to what we see someday from Twilt:

Hijack away, as long as we are talkin 3rd Gens, i am happy!
after a litlle confusion  ::), the car was delivered to my job this evening about 6:30 pm. as time allows this week, i`ll get the gas tank, fuel filter, and carb changed out and see how she runs, put some wheels/tires on it,  take a good look at the steeriing/suspension/brakes and check the alignment. was kind of fun to see the ricer kids at my job (automotive repair facility)  gawk at the car when it got dropped off. To their credit, they did help push it inside the building into a bay for the night. good kids, just misguided ;)

QuoteBTW, never-ever try to save a few $$ and buy the fiberglass repro front spoiler. been there, done that, tried to use it, was junk, returned it, bought the like original  plastic one.

Ok, so I wasn't losing my mind when my fiberglass one from Year One doesn't seem to fit for dookie.  ;D  How can they even hint at it being a repro part in their catalog?  At least I only paid about $40 for it and a bunch of other small parts which were worth the money.  Kinda looks neat hanging on the wall.  :icon_smile_blackeye:

Nupe, naw you weren`t losing your mind. if i secured mine on each side evenly , it required twisting the center almost to the point of breaking it. i was disgusted, especially since i had drilled more than a few holes in the F valance to mount it. on a good note, YR1 did take it back no questions asked. was not a big deal for me as i live close to Yr1 and do my biz there in person. plastic one was no problems. after that experience, i wont buy glass again, unless absolutely necessary. i can only imagine how horrendous the glass power bulge hoods are and can only feel sorry for anybody who buys one trying to save a few bucks.

I avoided the fiberglass hood because of the advice of a lot of people here-sure am glad but keep me in mind if you see a decent one my way everyone!

You gotta bring her by once you get her nice and purty. Nice to know that she's in more capable hands now  :icon_smile_approve:
