He's definitely not out of line with his reserve. I have close to that in my 68 and haven't done anything more than pull the engine and tranny out.... And buy a ton of parts.   :yesnod:

looks like a good clean car... definitely worth checking out :Twocents:

This Charger right here is a one of none, that means none before it, none to come.

He says he got it for the wife and she hates it. I'd consider keeping the Charger and letting the wife go.

Price definitely isn't outta line I'd say.

Years ago they used salt on the roads in Kansas would be my only concern.  My first Mope from there had subframe rust.  Depends where this car originated from.

Maybe someone from the forum (ala Leon) could go take a look at it for you.

It is a nice looking car.  If it can be had for his $12,000.00 reserve that would be even better.  If it was a 69 I would be jumping on that one.

Haha, well i already got rid of my wife so that won't be a problem for me. Nacho, i'm not sure how I feel about the color even burnt orange is the color of my team (U.T. Longhorns!)

I'm still watching the auction. Up to $8800 but still hasn't reached reserve.

BB1, you don't happen to live in Topeka do you??   ;)

mopar_nut_440_6

Looks like a decent car. I do not know how he spent 5000 hours on it though!! I could see 500!

That car wasn't too bad before he did a semi-resto on it. Very original. I cannot believe they removed the dealership sticker. That's a huge no-no in my eyes.  :brickwall:

Try and contact a member on the board that goes by the name wingman that lives in the topeka area.  He is a good guy and may know some history on the car for you.  He has been dealing with mopars in the area for a number of years.  Good luck.

That car was stolen for $12,625.00.

So what would you do with regards to the dealer sticker? mask it off and do body work around it?

rrockchrger

I didn't win it.  Someone came in out of the blue and won it near the end I think.

472 R/T SE

Although not as desirable a color as the burnt orange, this one looks like a decent buy as well.
