Actually I don't think it did leak until Chuck drove it like he stole it.

skip68

:scratchchin:   You know, it only leaked until it was empty.   :shruggy:   Then it started making loud noises when I would run it so it must have been empty.  The good thing is I always shut it off when the temp gauge got in the middle of the red.   I think that CB had too much water in the radiator.   :yesnod:  Because it overflowed into the engine where the oil goes.    :shruggy:    :nana:

Gasp...a '68 was sent overseas!!!  :o WTF??? I certainly can understand '69's being sent over but a '68??  :'(  Well, at least it was a green one that had not yet ripened....  :icon_smile_wink:

:2thumbs: Glad to see the car arrived in one piece, I've seen worse than a flat tire!

CB

thanks for all the compliments guys  :2thumbs:

This Charger needs a full new interior. A paint job too. New bumpers. And a '69 pass fender.
I wanted a solid car, no major technical issues, a good driver and this is what it is.
She is far from a show car but I can drive this car anywhere. Funny thing , in the 2 weeks I was in Vegas, I put more miles on this car then all the cars together I had in the past!! (this is my ninth US car)
She looks mean with the wheels and tire set up. The red/white combo is very exciting to me.

I never felt this good then owning this particular car. I feel blessed to finally have fun with a cool 4-speed big block Mopar :yesnod:

Well, look at my 'agony':
a. get an application document from the Belgian customs for appalling a pink slip (costs 5 cents)
b. get the VIN # stamped in the chassis (costs $ ~60)
c. drive my car 20 miles get a approval from Chrysler's' head quarters that this VIN # is the legit # (costs $80)
d. leave my car at the Dodge dealer so they can drive it to inspection (costs $45 + $20 fee)
e. get my plates at the local DMV on a Monday or Wednesday morning (customs needs to stamp the form) (free)

I am not driving my car yet :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall:
More pics will follow!!
BTW how's your General doing?

Yes, I saw Christian buy a few "resto" items at the MATS. The kid is not stupid, but just a little "off" (by one year.... :D)  Lets see if he posts the photos of the signatures of those lucky enough to sign his soon to be replaced interior. And I still do love his right front fender.... ;D

yes Nacho, I bought a carpet and console carpet kit, trunk seal, locks for the doors and trunk, wheels and tires as you allready have noticed, some upper door pads I found on the swap meet at MATS...
No big 'resto' items since I first invested in getting this car reliable.  ;D :yesnod:
