Can B-Body "Dodge Solid State" AM radio be converted to FM?

I have searched for old posts and googled, but no success...

I think I have at times seen adverts for specialists that can take my working AM Solid State Radio and have it converted to also accept FM. Even make it "MP3" compatible I think I have seen discussions about (needing some form of added cable/socket presumably!)

AM reception in Sweden is poor and only works at night, so I´d like to have FM as well...

Many thanks for any (useful) replies.

Regards,

Martin

Yes, do a degree. I don't think anyone will convert one to look like an AM/FM but I believe they can convert an AM to pick up FM signals.

Shakey

I had my AM radio converted to AM/FM and it now has a aux jack for my .mp3 player.

Turnswitch was the name of the company, dealt with a fella named Greg and he charged me around $500.00 for the whole deal.  Still looks like a stock AM radio.

I may have posted some information about this in a thread when I had it done some time ago.
