Hey gang..
Does anyone know of a source for the rear rollers which are part of the rear window regulator system. I've talked to Tom at R/T, but his vendor is on back-order right now. I'd like to start focusing on getting the glass back in the car... This is for a '68 Charger...

Cheers,

Troy,

Got mine from Tom at R/T but you might be able to try Charger specialties also.

Back ordered seems to be the general concensus for those right now.For quite a while from what I understand.

Best bet would be to find a smaller outfit that may not have sold all of there stock yet.

I just got a 14-piece set from a place called Hoover Auto Parts (hooverautoparts.com) at the end of April. I was surprised to see they had two sets in an Ebay auction so I snatched one of them up. I have no idea where they got them because everyone else is backordered. R/T Specialties makes the kits for Year One and presumably several other places too and when I called them just prior to seeing the auction they had no idea when they would get the parts to complete the sets.

Oh, well, speak of the devil: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/66-70-B-Body-Charger-GTX-New-Quarter-Window-Hardware_W0QQitemZ120399799867

They won't be any cheaper elsewhere. That's about what R/T Specialties charges.

Jim's has them for $120 (if you want deal with them): http://www.jimsautoparts.com/glass_and_%20window_parts.htm
Jack's has them for $60: http://www.jacksautoparts.com/catalog/hardware.html
Year One has them for $90

A word of advice, do a search here on Jim's before you buy anything from them.
