On my car there is a differant fuse link coming from the starter relay to the red wire.(replaced by past owner) It was but spliced in. I have a new link from year one (prt # FD5283). Is thier a female connector made for the red wire? (the replacement has a male connector) or, should I but splice in the new link to the red wire? Is thier a replacement for the red wire?

eeeeh... I don't think so.

I think you could get the terminal to attach to the red wire... maybe radio shack have them ? some hardware store ? grocery store ?... dunno up there

So do not but splice? What about a standard bullet splice on the red wire?

definitelly will work as far you find the propper terminal size
