HELP !!!!Chevy trans ?s cant work on my mopars until the wifes vette is fixed

Im restoring my wife's 75 vette and found a 78 vette that has an overdrive, but not being a chevy guy I dont know if its a 700r4 or 200r4 and would also like to know if the turbo400 torque converter would work in either of those transmissions.
I have to get this car done so I can start working on my Daytona clone so any help would be welcome so I can get this out of my garage.

the best way to id them is to look at the tranny pan. The 200-4R will have one shaped similar to the TH350 (square with one corner cut off) and the 700R4 will have a larger, rectangular pan. i also believe that the 200r4 had a universal bolt pattern on the bellhousing, which means it will have more holes since it was designed to use with a gm and a pontiac engine.
