Hi, I am looking for a set of NOS 1969 Charger 500 Headlight Bezels. If anyone has a set that they would be willing to sell please PM me.

P.S. I am also looking for a decent 1968/1969 055 Radiator (26")

Much appreciated, thanks.  :2thumbs:

Hi, it is the left and right Bezels which go over the headlights on each side of the grille. They are both annodized and satin black.

Thanks,

There have a been a few NOS sets on Ebay in the last 3-4 months Steve, but most include the center section as well and are bringing around $600-900 depending on the condition.

My suggestion would be to remove the ones that are on the car, and have them sprayed. Because that is what you will have to do with even an NOS set as the raised squares will still be silver on an NOS one and not all black.

I thought the 68 Super Bee and possibly the R/T's had them the same way as the 69 Charger 500's did. If so then there should be some NOS ones out there with the face all satin black instead of the raised edges showing the bare aluminum.  :icon_smile_question:

Thanks again everyone,

Steve

I did my best. I don't have a 500 but if Dodge used '68 Coronet parts in '69 then it should still be good today.  :2thumbs:

That's what I thought too, at least about the Super Bee (not so sure about the RT)?  :shruggy:

The set that we bought on ebay for a customer's car a couple of years ago were black. I assumed that they were from an R/T.

Hmm, I wonder about the Coronet 440 and 500 for 68 then, were they both the same or did one of them receive the black?

Question, what kind of "charger" emblem did the c500 use in the grille? the usual 68-69 emblem?

You are right in that aspect, but its the same bezel I believe, with the if I'm not mistaken the same part number as well. I'm not sure if it is supposed to be a satin black, or a flat black though. I have seen them both ways on restored cars, and on the unrestored ones I've seen its a bit hard sometimes to tell if its a satin, or a flat black, but I'm nearly positive it isn't a gloss paint.

Here is a photo of an unrestored HEMI 500's grille. Car had 11K miles on it when photographed.
