I went to the laundromat with my parents to wash bed comforters.  I was sick and still am.  Don't worry not swine flu, but anyway I had the most tremendous headache!!! :brickwall: I'm sitting with the windows down in my Mom's Hyundai, listening to 94.7 FM  and I look up the road.  I see a purple glare over the horizon  then a red one, then a yellow one.  At the stop light I see that is is a group of deuce coupes.  Then I see a classic pickup 10 minutes later.  Look down the road at the intersection again I see a '67 Impala turing left going the other direction.  I sit again this time I see more deuce coupes, then another pick up, then an '09 Challenger and the creme-de-la-creme: a '70 Hemi'Cuda in Hemi Orange.  Then a Camaro go west at the intersection.  I can't help but feel I am slow, not good enough and butterflies.  I want my Charger to be done, and as this thought crosses my mind I imagine myself in it at the parking lot. :-\

I'd love to drive the Charger in the summer but it's no where close to being completed....so that's why I have the Duster (besides daily driving) to help me get over it until the Charger is done (then I'll have 2 driveable cars :))

Yeah it makes me sad when my car is apart in the garage and others are cruising around, but one other feeling I have is the good feeling of having a Muscle car in the garage period.   :yesnod:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Ya, alot of times when I'm driving around I wish my car was painted and done, but then I think I have a nice car just not painted. I'm still having fun in it so what the heck it will get painted someday.

It's hard when your so young and broke,.. your like dreaming of the future when you can hang out and bench race as an equal with the O.G.s.
You'll realy appreciate it when you do fire up the Big Block (or /6) the first time,.. and slip the E-brake,.. really arn't too many feeling that good in life,..  if your a true Motorhead.  :yesnod:
Right up there with getting laid after the senior prom. You'll aways remember your first.  :icon_smile_wink:

Ruh roh.  being in love and owning a '69 Charger project car are two huge money pits competing for the same dollar.   :Twocents:

How far is your car from being driveable if you were to put $1000 into it?  Post some pictures of your car or is there a thread here somewhere on it?

Quitcher bitchin.  Just be happy you have a muscle car.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.
