426, just tell the truth. The one thing people on this board don't like is lying.  :Twocents:

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Remember how you started out?  :slap:

That's exactly why I'm trying to give him advice. I lied on my first post. Somebody called me on it and I confessed. I didn't deny it like he his. And 426, people don't believe you because the facts are against you. Are you sure it was THAT '69?

I talked to C_Stripes. I explained to him about my Charger.  The thing is I myself doubt it is a MP Racecar but the hood catch plate had stickers on it that said "Mopar Performance"
              ------------------
                RACE TEAM CAR

I doubt you'll believe my 'cause I'm a liar but that's what I found when the car first got into my posession. And like I care really, I was going to restore it anyways. :shruggy:

Thank you for admitting that. Stickers are just stickers though, that's not enough to prove it's a MP Racecar so I guess it's not :shruggy:

Without being too much of a dick, what can you do to prove these statements that you made?
I'd rather die than go to heaven.

Charger-Bodie

In the Ninetys when you bought a mopar part you could fill out a form that came with the part , send a check or money order and recieve a Mopar perf. Race team decal.....I used to have on on my tool box (about 5 tool boxes ago)

It means nothing its just a sticker.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .

one question tho...and i'm really not here to argue the validity of your car as a MP racecar or whatever...but if it was...

I got my car on September 20, 2008 for my 15th birthday.  The car as I came to find out was actually a "Mopar Performance Race Team" race car.  This means that the car had its carpet stripped the ignition was modified, aftermaker tachometer, headers and various other mods.

if the 440 had headers on it...and...

(10/19/2008)

Removed the headers from the heads but the person that made the headers was a dumbs**t he had to put them snug against the engine.  This means that they are still under the hood and can't come out.  I got the spark plugs out of cylinders 1 & 8 both which are covered in oil and a seriously doubt that 2-3-4-5-6-7 are any better.

don't think a mopar race team would have hired that sort of people...but regardless dude...i'm not here to pick u apart...i don't think anyone is despite how it may look...but just tell the truth bro...its all good...your lucky that you have the money, space and parts to work on your charger dude...wish i could say that about mine... :yesnod:

You keep yelling at people for launching attacks at you yet you dont explain yourself.

Perfect example,

So i say "My car is a power windows car" yet if you look at my door panel it has cranks on it for manual windows. So someone calls me out and says "Well if your car is a power window car why do you have manual windows??" to then PROVE it, i can show them all the factory wiring for my power windows.

See how it works? Granted for small things people would take my word for it, but if i made the claim "My 73 is an original six pack car" I better be able to back it up with facts. If someone called me out i wouldnt just yell at them for it, i would explain WHY i know my car is a six pack car. And maybe im wrong on the facts and someone shows that to me, well then i learned a bit more.

Its not that we are ARROGANT, it is the idea that ALL the facts point to you not telling the truth.   You were caught; accept, apologize, and move on.

The only reason we are reaming you out to the size of an asian hooker is because you keep trying to make excuses and get around the topic without just admitting the fact. That is why your first post went to what ? 30 something pages and got locked?   I mean Jeez - my Charger's Restoration thread is only 9 pages   :rotz:

This is a great place to learn things. If you need help we will all pitch in. That is what makes this site great but we don't need the BS and high school drama.   :Twocents:

I understand it is part of the age (we were all there once) but come on - you are not going to get anything by us. Not to be an ass but most people here know a hell of a lot more than you because we have been doing it more often and for longer....     what is the point of trying to get us to believe you ?   :shruggy:

No, you clearly state it was "The car as I came to find out was actually a "Mopar Performance Race Team" race car."

Not "The car as i came to find out was actually MADE to look like a "Mopar Performance Race Team" race car
