That guy is a member on this board and i don't think it was for sale before it was restored. I think thats why he restored to sell and make some coin.

Do you all remember when there was a kid on cardomain that said he owned Mr. Angry?   LMAO.  This kind of reminds me of that. Seems some people like to make stories to sound cool. I am still trying to figure out how a 16? year old kid has enough money to buy a 69 R/T. Maybe I didn't work hard enough as a child to save that up. hmm.

HEMI,  I have a question. Here is part of your cardomain; " I got my car on September 20, 2008 for my 15th birthday.  The car as I came to find out was actually a "Mopar Performance Race Team" race car.  This means that the car had its carpet stripped the ignition was modified, aftermaker tachometer, headers and various other mods."

I am curious; First off, how do you know it was a "Mopar Performance Race Team" car? Second. Did you know that Mopar Performance didn't even exist in 69?   :shruggy: Maybe I am a dummy for not understanding. But if it was a "race team" car back in the day, I am sure it would have been a HEMI and if it was a more recent Mopar Performance race car. I would bet that the paint would still have been on there and your buddy that you bought it from would have known and charged more for it. Plus the car would have been tubed etc... So I have some serous doubts that it was a race car of any kind other than maybe someones personal street car.

So everyone can see. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3160504

Hmmm lets see.  Jet sold this car approx 2 years ago after he restored it around 2007 or so?
Jet said on his site he took 6 years to restore the car....puts the purchase date around 2000-2001
426hemicharger guy is how old?  15?  So basically you could have bought this car when you were 7 or 8? :icon_bs:

Looks like he bought it around 1997(ish) so you'd have been what, 4? Hard to claim it "got away". Age aside, I bet a lot of people wish they could have purchased their cars at 1997 prices.

I don't think so.  If we could, I could think of several dozen members who would be banned.  Myself included.

We all have our retard moments.

That being said, I'm interested in hearing this kid's answer.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.
