Need to ID spring that fell of 68

I thought this spring fell off the area I have it hooked onto for the parking brake cable but I looked at my buddies 69 and could not find the spring.

I was under the car prepping it for welding in framerail connectors when this fell off. I did not not really see where it came from.

Any thoughts?

Looks nothing like something Ma Mopar would put on a 2nd gen

Looks like a mower belt tensioner or something, but def. not off a 69..

Looks like it is unanimus that it is not off the Charger.

I had thought of the mower spring because it does look like one but the mower has its bright shiny 20 year old black one on it.
