Upper and Lower control arms
Struts
Torsion bars
All steering linkages (You can roll it around a garage with help without these - but it won't be easy.....)

About the only thing not needed is brakes and shocks....

I assume you only mean the front?

Depends on how much or type of roll you mean, I've seen them roll around the "shop" with casters under the K frame (no motor)  :Twocents:

Enough to put on a car trailer and then unload into the shop.

Yeah you would need a wrecker to move it with no front end on it. What ya got? Is it missing parts?

My '70 Coronet. I'm just doing some planning for when I pick it up in October. From what I understand, most of the front end stuff is missing. I'm thinking I could source out the minimal front end parts I need before I go get it so I can load it onto my car trailer. He has a private junkyard so I could find some of the stuff there.

I'm pulling my torsion bars and replacing them this weekend on my 70 Charger you can have the old ones if you want to pay shipping, there not in bad shape? Let me know I've still got the box the new ones came in.

You obviously need the k-frame in place and the wheels secured to the spindles. Other than that I would recommend you at least install a tie rod so they turn in unison.

Maybe hes referring to having the front end parts on it, like the UCA's, LCA's....ect

YUP! The K frame is the part that everything bolts to...so you can have a K frame, but no upper or lower control arms, strut rods, torsion bars, spindles, inner and outer tie rods, steering box, Pittman arm, center section, idler arm, not to mention rotors or drum hubs at least to put rims and tires on....to have a car you can roll around. So pretty much there is your list!  :2thumbs: Ask your buddy if he can send you a photo of the underside of the front end.  :popcrn:
