Already redid the box, I need pictures of the cover installed.

it is mounted on the under side of the dash frame , below the glove box , screwed into the dash frame , i'll take a picture tomorrow , it no one posts one

Well, I installed it today, was actually pretty easy

good spot     all the ducts are missing ,  as the A/C was ripped out  buy the second owner .  only have put the windshield ones back in .
  also i have taken the condenser out of the heater box & put a false floor in it . if you have taken the box apart you will know what i mean , plus removed some parts A/C parts from it ,  its just really a shell now with a heater core in it    also removed the fire wall water valve,  still need to rebuild it 
    all the A/C stuff is gone from under the hood also  , i was originaly going to change the fire wall to a none A/C one , but decided against it , as may put A/C one day

I know what you're talking about    my condenser was in good shape, so I left it in there, might go for A/C one day too. Rebuilt my heater valve and put all the ducts back in, so at least I got heat when it's cold outside, and defog for those misty days!

BTW, do you know what's suppose to happen when the different buttons on the heater panel are pushed?
The door that shuts the air from the outside never moves, no matter what button I push, and the "heat" button closes all the doors, so the only air coming out of the box, is the small vents underneath.

good question .. the vacumn pipe was never conected when i got my car , connected it up & tried ...can't really remember as it was 20 years ago ... then disconected it  never tried it since & then done a nut & bolt resto , noe conected uit up either , will get round to figuring out whats what , i have all 3 speeds of fan & new A/C switch ,   i can  scan my owners manual if that will help , tells what does what
