Not, that's not true. I'm getting "Chrged" for the Charger, "IRN MDN" for the Duster & "BAD BEE" for the Coronet.

You can get custom plates here but that one does not match the back plate (the only one that counts in Alberta) so I do not know if the front plate belongs to the car.If it did it would have been issued in the mid 80`s judging by the first three letters.The lady I moved the car for bought it in Jan.1970 and picked it up in Windsor Ontario.I do not usually take pictures of customer`s cars but I made an exception for this one.

Green71R/T, not sure if you saw my reply to your old question on the previous post, but regarding your question regarding the counterweight on this '70 440 4bbl. Being that it's a '70 440 375hp motor, it has the big rods. Everyone practically calls them "six pack" rods, but the six pack had nothing to do with it. Standard rule of thumb, in '70-'71, 440 4bbls and 6bbls had the heavy rods, hence the counter weight added to the vibration dampner. '69 and earlier 440's all had the smaller rods, hence no counterweight.

Custom plates available in Ontario - I don't think they are in Quebec.
You can also have Y.O.M. (year of manufacture) dated plates on your car in Ontario as well. The only problem is they have to be in decent shape (as if you are going to put crappy plates on your car) and cannot be still owned by anyone else.

I knew that 71`s used the heavy rods because my original engine has them.I guess I learned something new.

Then again I like the new Chargers so I'm sure most here question my taste.
