mine never has been used, simply has been there with hoses and all, but never got water. water pump niples are sealed from factory. Of course I live on a tropical country, that's the reason why is sealed.

However valve moves hardly, enough to bend the cable when trying to set the temp from control... Is there some way to make it move smooth ? lube it inside somehow ?

I think yours may have rusted stuck. Mine will fall open if the cable is not connected.
