I guess to Raise the Compresion Rate affects mileage, but, for better or worse ?

same about Higher performance Camshaft...

I bet the porting gets the mileage worse, specially if you like to WOT, but dunno about the rest being displacement is not changed drastically.

what driving changes does make to vary those mileage changes ?... to better or worse depending on CR and camshaft changes

Good question, I don't have the answer but I'm curious to see. I would think the higher the compression ratio, the more efficient the engine is, the better the mileage. As for the cam, the more valve overlap, the worse the mileage due to unburnt fuel out the exhaust.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'till it is.

those are my thoughts too, but want to heard the opinions. Of course more performance you have, more gas pedal you'll give for fun :D but... if you keep your driving style ?

I think if you drive getting same speed, then will need less gas pedal to get same speeds due the more power you have, but  :shruggy:

70 500

more horsepower almost always means worse mileage. higher compression burns the fuel more efficiently and adds torque but theres a happy medium in which the design of the engine and its components work at optimum fuel economy.
hold my beer, this is gonna be fun

I expected more answers or opinions here from experts in just a couple of days :shruggy:
