Let's talk front end sheet metal finishes - Latch Trays & Front Valances

I have a friend who has an original 68 Hemi Charger that is nearing it's restoration completion. He's trying to get the smaller paint details right.

What was the factory procedure for primer/sealer/paint/undercoating, etc. for the front hood latch tray and the front lower valance? In what order where theses items painted and assembled onto the car? I have my own opinions on this, just looking for some others.
