Has anyone here from CA actually been able to put "Model Year Date License Plates" on their Charger?

I called CA DMV on the phone and the guy on the other end was worthless.
"Come in and your local office will let you know"

Thanks!

Well - Usually if you have a PAIR of license plates from back in the day and they are not currently registered to a vehicle you can have them applied to your vehicle - these plates must be inspected by your local DMV for them to verify if they are legible enough to be put into service.  :2thumbs:

In North Carolina, the license plate agency told me they did not care what I ran on the car as long as I had the registered plate in the car and the plate I'm running was not in use.

It starts 7/1/09.............

At this point you can call DMV to see if the plates you have a free & clear through today.

To find out if a plate is clear, visit your local DMV office, or call the DMV Special Processing office in Sacramento, and ask if the plate number is clear for YOM. If they say there is no record, or the number is not in the computer, then it is clear. The phone number for the DMV Special Processing office in Sacramento is (916) 657-7606 or (916) 657-7654. There is no website access for this info.

Thanks!  That will save me a trip down to the DMV.

My Charger registration is due in June and I was hoping to kill two birds with one stone.

I guess Its going to be a two trip visit.
