How many people here, when they kick the bucket will get buried in there Charger?

I'm in disbelief that this is a serious question and that these are serious answers.  You people are strange!  Let the car live on!  I wouldn't want my car to have to rot away with my body.  It's just like people who want to be buried with their money.  WTF are you going to do with it in your grave?

I want them to make a BIG ziploc bag, so the Charger could be put into that, and then put me inside both, that could keep the paint looking fresh. But here is another idea, how about an above groung grave made to look like a garage, then put the charger in that, then the corpse in that?!?!?!?!?!?

I don't really care what happens to my Chargers when I'm gone.  Or anything else I own for that matter.

If they mean something to a relative or friend, fine.

If the cars' cash value would buy them something else more important to them, that's fine too.

After all this work and cash that I'm putting into this thing, I sure as hell don't want it to become another Miss Belvedere.

i hope you are rich, then to bury your cars. you'll need to buy a BIG plot to bury a whole car. (that story on the corvair used four plots after shaving 8 inches from the rear).  :smilielol: Do us all a favour and will it to your children.  :slap:

I would like my cars to live on with someone that loves it. BUT, I want to be cremated also. I would like to have my ashes thrown out the window of my mopar out in the country at over 100MPH. That would be the best way to go out in my eyes.

If I can't run my Charger into the ground I want it in the ground with me.

Why should someone else get the pleasure of destroying what I have built.

I dont think burying it is taking good care of it. It could be getting the worst beating ever and still be better off than covered in dirt.

Me casket, as for the car I told my wife to keep it or offer to my older brother for 20,000.00.  If he turns it down sell it on ebay for whatever it brings.  When I'm gone I could care less.  call me a hardass but I have no earthly attachments after I go. It made me smile it made me cry, now goodbye.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

I have decided to take one with me when I go.  It is part of my plan to tick off some of my lazy relatives who think that they are going to get everything that I worked hard for.  Their greed will be shown to everyone for what it is at that point in time.  Guess I will get the last laugh on that one, kinda like a middle finger from beyond the grave. :coolgleamA:.....

You know how you find all kinds of interesting things in a car when you buy it & get it home? I'd like to be cremated & have my ashes put inside the car under the rear seat. Then let whoever inherits it sell it, & leave me there for the next owner to discover along with some loose change, rusty wrenches, rodent nests, & other useless crap.  :smilielol:

Not me, it's a toy for my living time not a receptacle for my dead body.  It reminds of the goofy pharoahs and Chinese warlords getting buried with every earthly possession they ever had.  At least in their case they subscribed to the notion they would need all that crap in the afterlife.  It's nuts.

Ok guys  I don't say a whole lot on here but this one got my attention. Lets do a group buy type of thing. If everyone wants to be buried in a Charger we can do this lol. I think it maybe a little tight but probably could get ten guys in a Charger if they are stuffed in right. So what we need is one guy to sacrifice his car. Are you with me so far. Then we get ten guys to pay 10 grand each now. This will be a money saver compared to burying your own car at about a 35 or 40 thousand dollars loss. So the ten guys in the group buy arrange to all die at the same time which maybe a little hard to do but it can be done. So far so good. Here is the best part though, your family, being kids or wife or even girlfriend is happy because they get your car to sell when you go. The guys are going peacefully knowing they are going in a Dodge Charger and the guy who puts his car up for the deal makes 100 grand so he is happier than everyone. This is a no losing situation for everyone. lol   Ok and just to show you how nice a guy I am I will be the first guy to offer his car as soon as someone gets the ten guys for the buy in.  Just teasing but this post got me to laughing and I couldn't help but respond. Honestly speaking I hope you all live to enjoy your cars until they fall apart long before you go or you get satisfaction out of the Charger you wanted to get when you bought it. Thanks for allowing me to have a moment of silliness and wish you all well.

Ron

I've lived, slept, ate, and breathed Chargers since I was a little kid, but the idea of being buried in one is simply physchologially insane to me. It's a car. You can't take it with you. You'll be dead, your body doesn't know if its in a Charger, casket, cardboard box, etc...

The only thing I want to happen to mine when I die, is to be passed on to my little brother, or kids if i have them by then. Why destroy the car I built when it would be better passed on to my younger family so they could enjoy it, keep the history alive, and maybe remember me and the good times they had with me together when they drive it?
