in the 2nd gen body, the upper door medallion has a color ring around it broken into 3 equal sections. i have seen all 3 be red, stainless and i have seen red, white and blue. now i have seen them on mixtures of base, SE and R/T's so i dont know which is which.

i just bought a brand new set from classic industries and they are all red.

any ideas which went where?

i like the red white and blue version so i am going to use some model paint and do it myself before i pop them on, i just wanted to know if anyone could tell where they came from or was it an obscure option or something?

the red white & blue  outer ring medallions  , were on very early 1968 chargers built in early 67 ,

other  features these early cars had were  skeleton deck lid inner frame  ,  extra rear tail lamp panel supports , chrome square buttons on  door map pockets , 67 steering wheel &  a few of these  very early cars had a side ways arrow on sail panel too .

the  only other  medallion I thought , was the plain red  3 sections .   ,   but with these repops  now  seems that's not the case  , as you have found out  pain  now too ,  which I have never personally seen on 68 or 69  or the few 70 ive inspected close up  , when ive been looking for said  medallion,   :P

to ad more confusion  , the charger script on the center disc  , comes in pain or picked out in black  :yesnod:
