I am painting my Charger with Nason B/C Black

I was going to use nason clear697. A painter at the paint store mentioned he had some problems with Nason clear over dark colors looking cloudy and recomended Dupont 7900.

Any experiences with these?

Black looking cloudy could of just been a case of Blushing, Thats when humidity gets trapped in the paint when you paint on a humid day, That's why painting on a Rainy day not a good Idea & this blushing shows up most on black. LEON.

buying quality clear coat helps too. I personally prefer PPG's 2000 series clears, they are "clearest" of clears. If you notice how cheaper clear coats have that yellowish tint to them, 2000's are more transparent.

Of Course, I always recommend buying the best of Quality also, Cheaper products just increase's your chance's for problems. The Western Clear I used at Maaco (20 years ago) was yellow & they told me it was yellow because it was made to be inergrated with the color & not to be used as a top coat? :scratchchin: :shruggy: :slap: LEON.
