How much paint should I get to paint a 73 Charger SE with 1/2 vynal top, fiberglass bulge hood ?


Nason Black, base / clear . Paint store sugested 3 qts + 3qts reducer

depending how much are you painting... inside cab, trunk etc...

I used 1 gall and 1/4"... of course I removed vinyl top too and painted that area, not too thick layer like on rest of body but painted anyway.

1 gallon clear yes, is enough

Painted the doors,jams, trunkseal area, back sides of front and rear valances, underside of hood and trunk already. Leaving existing vynal top on.

Going to put fenders,hood and trunk back on and drive to a buddys house who has a paint booth and he will paint the exterior.
