Tried to be funny, all car are foreign to us Norwegian as we don´t produce any cars..
We do most European cars, but a lot of Asian cars too.
American cars are not well represented here, some Chrysler Voyagers and Jeep.

As many of you know my Charger was damaged in a fire i had in my shop.
I have plans for the rebuild, but i must get my shop up and running first.
The shop is about a month or so from getting finished
The engine and tranny from the car is sold and the front end too.
Instead of doing a repair of the car, i will do something else than last time.
I will be starting the rebuild in 4 to 6 months..
Here are some pic´s for you

So, have you had a chance to start on your rebuild of the charger?   :poke:

The shop is stunning BTW! You present an extremely professional image by keeping it neat and tidy. Very impressed.  :2thumbs: :coolgleamA:

I just saw this thread for the first time today.  I remember reading about the fire but hadn't caught any news from you for a while.  I am absolutely stunned by the shop.  :o If I were there, I would want to park my car in there just to get a picture in the place.  :yesnod: That way I could say I was in the most amazing shop you'll ever see!   :2thumbs:

I am also a son of Norway.  My family moved here 4 generations ago from a village called Sjoli along the eastern boarder.  Don't know if either of you two norsemen have heard of it.  Paul and I live in the heart of Minnesota, which is quite full of Norwegians.  And our football tean, the Vikings, are representing our heritage quite well this years!

Look forward to seeing the progress on the car.  :popcrn:  Take care!!! ;)

...is your alignment computer a Hoffman/JBC/FMC or a similar derivitive?? I'm also curious about the alignment rack. It appears that you have a pad lift on each runway to raise the vehicle by the pinch weld of the rocker panels, but is there a rolling jack to raise by the axle/and/or control arms??  You are to be congratulated for your shop layout and attention to detail. I sold shop equipment for 17 years for John Bean/FMC/Snap-on and have assisted on many shop designs and retro-fits. Yours is by far as nice or nicer than 99% of the domestics shops here. Most owners want to cheap-out or cut corners on equipment, space available and even manpower, when it is realy quite foolish and counter productive in the long run. Again, you have done a magnificant job and I wish you all the success in business and pleasure.

Hi, and thanks for the kind words.
The alignment computer is called Hunter Hawk Eye and is a 3D system that also measure the the body compared to the wheels.
Very pleased with the system so far.
The lift is a Italian brand called AGM with a pad lift on each runway, you can get it in any lenght and configuration you want.
We do not have the the rolling jack to raise the axle etc.

yeah we do ,  had to start buying more in when we switched to  waterbase & high solids  , H/S dont leave much thinners after boiling ,  yeah same here about 6 times then get new stuff also , remember not long after we got the first thinners machine  , i was locking up one night , went to check to see if the  clean drum was empty enough as it had just stopped boiling  ,  then saw one of the guys had left the thinners bag retaining ring out :icon_smile_blackeye: , damn  that thinners waste was welded to the inside  ::)
