You guys all know I pretty much live for Iron Maiden, but there are other bands I like..
Here is a band called Samson, very good music. The lead singer is Bruce Dickinson, he joined Iron Maiden in late 1981
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PyKfkDVEJ4

The next band is called Accept, they are a German metal band from the early 1980s
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPWhgcAL4jg

Next, we have some of Bruce Dickinson's early work with a band called "The Shots"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdPQlK4ANaY

Here is some good old punk rock from JFA, beach blanket bongout!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpd_iGbWtWA

Here is another one from the Punk Rock era.. Agent Orange is the band.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bs6uoUybJus

That's just a little bit of the not so well known music out there.. :punkrocka: :musik010: :METAL:

Agreed, well known but some good choices for sure. :2thumbs:

Bird, try out some Helloween, when Michael Kiske was the lead.  You'll dig that too I bet.

I do like his song "Shot in the Dark".. The reason I don't listen to much of his music is kinda simple.. I think that he is overrated, you have to admit, you can only hear "Iron Man" and "Crazy Train" soo many times before you go inasne.. That and it is hard (for me at least) to understand what the hell he is saying.. Sorry dude.

I like alot of these as well. I've also seen MANY of them in concert. AC/DC, KISS, (with and without make up!!, several times!!) Autograph, (they gotta a cool groovy sound, I got some very rare stuff of them from ebay, kinda' neat)
Bon-Jovi, (seen them when RATT opened FOR them!!) Metallica, MOTLEY CRUE!! (several times) Van Halen(with David lee AND with Sammy) seen Sammy and David on sepperate occasions as well!, Journey and Def Lepp a couple of years ago. I've gotta say for a young'un we have alot of the same musical intrests. cool.  :icon_smile_cool:
One band is near and dear to my heart, I NEVER miss them coming thru town. (Please, no "What has nine arms and sucks?" jokes.) DEF LEPPARD. Gettin stoned with the neighbor girl, '86? '87? she says, "jeffy, you gotta hear this, it sooo cool man" then she plays; "Gunter glieben  glauten globen" been hooked ever since. I still smile a little when ever I hear a Def song on the radio! :2thumbs:  "Step inside, walk this way, you and me babe, HEY HEY!!

a) Ozzy was better after Sabbath and

b) Sabbath was better with Dio.

I forgot to post these links for the VICTORY guy's

VICTORY's main website   http://www.victory-music.com/ The song clip that plays is the song "Back Seat Rider". The current singer is the bands third. This version of the song was off the cd that is pictured, which was all older songs re-recorded with the new lead singer. The guitar picks on the left is what you click on to move around the site.

Herman Frank (ex-ACCEPT)   http://www.hermanfrank.com/

Tommy Newton (founding member)   http://www.tommynewton.de/ He also is a producer, and has done a lot of Europian metal bands you might like if you look at his list.

If i started listing everything I listened to, I'd be here all night for sure.

Hey Brock, if it makey you feel any better...I like the Charlie Daniels Band, does that count? I also like some newer stuff like the bands: Killers, Kicking Harold, Thrice, Thursday, Linkin Park and Green Day.. I just cannot stand "Rap" music or "Country" music.. Sorry, but I find that most newer music is all Synth and Computer..As for country, well that is a long story and it would probably go the way of that "other" thread I posted..

I suspect I was going to raves before you were born.. wing,..
that was when they were truly underground "happenings" and you only found out about them at the last minute via someones' pager...
Synths and sequencers are to electric Guitars what guitars were to the accordion...
there was a tendency for electronica enthusiasts to shun anything with a guitar, but in the last couple years  there is a definite trend to incorporate guitars into trance/house mixes...
Bring it on I say,.. When i was 13 or so back in '70,.. I used to try to imagine what the music of the future would be...
at that time I figgured it would sound alot like the "Welcome" album by Santana with a more cosmic sensibility and more incorporation of technology  combined with primitive insterments (read drums) to achive a "world music".
