I've spend a ton of time looking at the pictures on the Photoshop thread  :popcrn:, but am wondering what other wheels would look good.  Anyone have any blacked out wheels?  I'm getting close to buy some wheels for my 68 and am confused on what to do....... :brickwall:

Due to lack of $$ I'm running black rims from the junkyard, I kind of like the look but my car is cosmetically challenged anyway. If your wondering get 2 from the boneyard and bolt them on. Your gonna need a spare tire anyway. Mine cost 15.00 each, I put new tires on and took the old tires back and they gave me 10.00 back for each one! Then I sold them my old crappy slots for 15.00 each scrap! Try it!

I'm eventually going to get these for my triple black 69.

I think they are part of American Racing.  They are pretty cheap by rim standards - about $150 for 18x9.

I haven't seen them on any chargers yet....

I am also confused. Painting my 68 the SS1 Yellow and was thinking of stock 15X8 Magnums, Weld Prostars, or maybe something black as well as I think it would set off the yellow and black paint scheme nicely. But very unsure as I may need to stick with a stock appearance!

These are the only ones that I've really seem that are affordable. Everything else is custom made and will be mucho $$....

American racing makes torq thrust m's in black, and mustang shops sell the same basic wheel as a "bullitt replica" wheel.  I absolutely ***LOVE*** mine.  They're pretty inexpensive too.

Looks good. Those are the kind of wheels I'll be running on the Coronet.

It definetly gives the car a "bad boy" look or perhaps "Don't F@ck with me". Wit the factory magnums the SS1 color looks nice but is more of a classy look rather than muscle. IMHO I really like the black rim look.

Thanks for starting this post.
