clear coating valve covers

Ok, I got all the oxidation off my fabbed aluminum covers, what is the best product to clear coat them with to prevent more corrosion that will also be heat resistant? Any tips would be great as well!

Try Eastwood's Extreme Diamond Clear. This comes in a little half pint can (8 oz), & is EXPENSIVE for the amount you get. Don't use their regular Diamond Clear in a spray can, I've found it works like garbage & leaves lots of orange peel on smooth polished parts.

Their Extreme clear can be brushed on or sprayed with a little touch-up gun. A little 8 oz can did my intake manifold (2 coats brushed with a foam brush). The polished water pump & pump housing, thermostat housing, pulleys, & my entire serpentine kit was sprayed on, 2 coats, and I STILL had some left over. The stuff flows out awesome & leaves no orange peel. Polished parts stay bright, kinda looks like clear powder coating. And, it's good up to 650 degrees.
