Can you install an after market oil pan (6-7 quart) in a 69 B body charger  with a Keisler 5 spd. The stock pan is only 1/16th " away from the drag link now due to the fact that the TKO is mounted lower in the chasiss. Or do you have to buy a pan that the drag link passes through.

I have a Keisler mounted in my 69 440 stroker with Milodon low profile 7 quart pan.  Drag link went in with no issues.  I'll get a measurement if you want.

I did tuck the transmission up as high as possible and had to fabricate a new floor tunnel.

Not to hijack a thread, but how's your ground clearance with that pan???

It's hard to say because my car is not all put back together yet.  I can tell you that the pan sticks down about 1.5" inches below the skid plate on the k-frame.
When I'm done - Ideally I want the skid plate between 5-6 inches off the ground.  Just looking under there now looks like my headers may actually be just as low, and being that they are not between the tires - They'll be dragging on the ground more often.  :brickwall:

We'll see

As far as the center link - at least 1/2" clearance at all points lock to lock.
