Welcome to the ring of fire brother.  I've been a volunteer since 1991 and love every second of it.  Nothing better than the feeling of helping your fellow man and woman.

Awesome, congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep your head on a swivel and go save some lives.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I won't be wronged, I wont be Insulted and I wont be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to others, and I require the same from them.

Hey, good tip. If you ever respond to a Volkswagen fire, stand back! :icon_smile_big:

(They have Magnesium engine blocks. If you put water on it, you'll think it was the 4th of July!)

Wow, how cool is that?  I was a fireman for 12 years.  A fantastic part of my life.  I worked my way up to truck driver/pump operator.  Fantastic news, keep us informend.  Here's something for you to think about.  When you go on your very first call, when you get home write down every detail about it.  I made a folder from the first acceptance letter to my last day.  Congratulations.   :2thumbs:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.
