Facebook??

I was totally against it like 4-5 months ago.. Thought it was just for young kids and pedophiles.. Well, I've reconnected with some friends that I haven't talked to in over 20 years.. The place is a GREAT networking tool!!

I'm glad I let the wife talk me into it!!

Now, with that said, if it ever turns into a "Myspace" environment, I'm outa there...

WTF is HUZZAH??  :shruggy:

ahem...

"Huzzah (originally huzza) is an English interjection of joy or approbation. According to the Oxford English Dictionary it is "apparently a mere exclamation" without any particular derivation. Whatever its origins, it has seen occasional literary use since at least the time of Shakespeare."

Facebook is fun the first couple of months, but then it turns into  a chore.

not if you don't allow it to be, I like to look at it, but I take no part in the reindeer games, I was against it for years, but I will say it's like sending text messages to everyone at once, kinda cool.

Facebook...AYE!

You would know huzzah by it's newer version...Hoorah!

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Me too.. It's been great 'seeing' some people I haven't seen since high school (or even longer!!).

I love it that people I was never friends with 'in real life' suddenly want to be on your "friends list". Why, when I didn't talk to you through 12 years of school would you think we'd be friends now??

how does facebook work it seems like most forum people are on here instead of myspace??

I will probably start adding people tonight.

I really disliked facebook at first. But then I found a few of my family members I don't see very often and it gives us a chance to talk.
I'm smarter than I act, But I don't act smarter than I am.

I'm on it too. I fought it till a college buddy told me all of our other college buddies were on it.  I love it.  honestly, and I think a lot of you feel this way, it's a good way to keep in touch with outer circle friends  (i call them fringe players)  people that you are a bit curious about what ever happened to, but not necessarily want to get together with and have a heart to heart.

I already got a mini college reunion out of it.  7 of us met at a bar in NYC a while back.  well, I never and I mean never drink mixed drinks.....and if a picture was ever worth a thousand words....
