Firewall hole and body plugs

Does anyone know what this hole in the firewall by my wiper motor is for? 


Not the square one - I know what that's for.  The circle right above the motor.

I didn't see it in any shots of other engine compartments.
I purchased a body plug kit - but none of them fit in this hole.
Speaking of which, how do I know which body plug goes where?  Rubber, plastic, flush, non-flush....

i see you have the mistery fire wall hole     been a few threads on it ..no one knows what / & why it was put there , its on ramdom 69 cars .. which are not even close in VIN numbers 
   never seen one up close , but think a floor or trunk pan one will fit

Geez- You mean there's situ here that no one here has been able to solve!   

Of course the plug is not in my kit.  The body plugs seem to be 1.75", 1.25" and 1.0".  This hole is 1.5" 

btw - my fender tag # 103094 - Hamtrack.

Hmmm, my car doesn't have a whole right there next to the wiper motor.  I can't tell you what it is for.

ANY POSSIBLE WAY THAT THESE WERE STARTED TO BE A DIFF CAR??? IE THE DAYTONA OR MAYBE SOMETHING TO DO WITH CALIFORNIA EMMISSIONS???

yeah been racking my brains , since i first saw one  ....did think at one point as the first one i saw was in a 69 C500 HEMI ,  the one i think chrysler loaned out to magazines & stuff , chrysler made that hole as to fit a mechanical drive Tac ..for their own performance evaluations  ....  but since then lots have shown
