So I was talking to a glass company and they said in the rear window there is no weather stripping or gasket just use urithain sealent on the glass, well i put it all in and than realized it didnt look right, there is a gasket or weather striping in the rear window isnt it?

any ideas how i could get it in without pulling out the rear glass again?

What year Charger are you working on?

Pictures would really help us see what you are talking about.

its a 1974 se charger. And ill try and get some pictures tonight, but the rear windshield, is it supposed to have a gasket or weather stripping or anything or just be sealed with urithane. Ive heard both ways.

The rear window has a strip of Butyl for the gasket. The roll comes in two sizes. You want to get the fatter roll, otherwise the window will sit to low in the opening and the window trim will not touch the window.
These days new cars come with Urethane. When I put the rear window back in my 71 Charger I plan on using urethane. You have to put it on thick so the window sits high enough to hit the trim.

Sounds like your going to have to remove your rear window.
