Hey just bought new brake lines from the right stuff detailing. No instructions to say which line goes where. Anybody have a clue. Could I get some pics of your brake lines.

I bought the 2 peice front to rear line with the block since I coverted to disc brakes up front (they recomended it)
I also bought a 5 peice set for the front. I would love to have some help!!

I just put new pre-bent lines in my car about 2 months ago.  I didn't have any of the originals to compare against and was thinking the same thing.
I'll see if I can get some pictures if you really need them, but you probably shouldn't.  Once you unpack and lay everything out - it's pretty much a no brainer where everything goes.
You'll also need a proportioning valve somewhere along the rear line if going from Drum to Disc.

It's not that tough if they are reproduction. They are all pretty unique so once you start trying to install them it will become self explanatory. Now if they're a one-size fits all... :shruggy: Trial and error.

BTW, how much was the shipping on those?

I used the exact same stuff - only in Stainless.
I have an aftermarket Master Cylinder and Proportioning Valve from Wilwood.

If you check the thread on my project - you'll see some shots of the engine compartment and drivers front wheel.

I really don't think you'll need any more pictures once you lay out the lines - They can't be hooked up wrong as all the ends are specifically sized.  Even the front and rear hookup to the master cylinder are different sizes.

Good luck.

Back N Black has a nice engine compartment shot w/o the motor showing the lines hooked into all the valves.

got them mostly figured out. My new master cylinder and proportioning valve has me a little messed up right now. I have to cut a bigger hole in the firewall for the master cylinder and the new proprtioning valve mounts to the master cylinder. My lines are for a proportioning valve that is on the frame rail. Wonder if I could use my original or buy an original one new?

Are you switching from power to manual or vice versa?
I went from power to manual and had to switch from a 4 bolt mount to a 2 bolt mount (and I made a custom aluminum mounting bracket).
I also went from drum to disc and never had a proportioning valve.

I put my proportioning valve in the same place where the factory has the metering valve(or whatever it's called) that came standard when the car had disc brakes.
You can see it in BnB's 2nd engine bay shot.

I think as long as you put it anywhere along the rear line you should be golden.

I got fuel lines from Right Stuff, If it's as good as my "Stuff" you better get a tube bender, tube cutter, and a double flair tool before you start :smilielol:

I'm going from drum to disc I had power drum brakes. I have had no problems yet I have almost all my brake lines on already the only hold up is that mbm master cylinder and proportioning valve.
