No thanks.  It may be painted and sealed but there a LOT of places under the car that aren't painted or sealed.  I may not go home crying if I get caught in the rain but I'm not about to purposely take it out in the crap.  Inside frame rails, places where body parts have flexed and exposed bare metal, a whole slew of undercarriage parts that aren't going to dry as quickly in their little hidden dark corners to boot.  Cars from the south may not rust as quickly as cars from the snow and salt areas but last I checked they eventually rust down there too.  All that moisture got in the car somehow.  Driving in the rain perhaps?  :scratchchin:

im kinda in that same boat. while if i get caught in a rain shower, i won't cry about it, i definitely don't go grab the car on purpose in the rain.  and you are right about the south, at least where i am. no salted roads, no ocean, no snow, yet over time the cars have rusted out here as well. from moisture.. cars in general just aren't designed with their crevices to absorb continuous weather elements and over a period of 30-40 years it takes it toll on metal.
