I have a 71 charger I'm building a 383 for.  Engine all put together and I primed the oil pump. No oil to the heads. Strong bottom end oil so I don't think its the oil pump. Any ideas anyone?

Did you rotate the engine as you primed?

the oil passage to the heads only lines up as the engine rotates so it is normal no tto have oil to the heads , fire it up
