I chose to install new repro manual mirrors from PG Classics on both sides.
The passenger side is as useless as tits on a bull. It's such a small mirror considering the distance it is from the driver's seat.
It is useful for seeing if the passenger door has been closed properly though.....
Gotta love a '69

As I understand it, if you got a passenger side mirror from the factory (on a 68 anyway) it was supposed to be a fancy non-remote while the drivers side was fancy remote.

That is the way my 68 is.

I've got two..  The pass side is great for checking out the sexy lines of the rear quarter.. that's about it.

Someone asked if the General had them.... Not from what I can see..

Unless you count the "movie" as part of it...

Personally, I like the style of RR mirrors  :o

Okay, let me get this right. You want to know if someone has one for sale, but then your not interested because it did not come with the car.  :slap: :shruggy: :slap:

I put one on my first gen just to equal the appearance. A friend of the family has a 66 Chrysler 300 rag top and he bought a NOS one for his passanger side and gave me the old one. I managed to get the original template for drilling the wholes and the rest is history. They are very non functional but still looks nice. :2thumbs:

I don't have a good pic.  It is a metallic medallion that has the initials RAC, For Royal Auto Club (actually, Real Automovil Club De Espana).  I guess it was kind of like AAA here.  Funny, my other Charger (68) had one of these as well.  Someone once told me that the original purchaser of the car could become a member through the dealership.  Don't know if its true.

Do they go in the same spot on the passenger door ?

No...they don't...it's in a different location so the driver can see the mirror....

I think thats true just for earlier gens due the vent glass post visual obstruction, but 3rd gens are without the vent glass

BTW I added. and it works for me... at least for what I did need
