creases in headliner

Anybody know how to get folds out of headliner ? dryer , steamer ? a new one outof the box.

 iron it  ...  but only on the  back & keep the iron moving  becare full you don't burn it  ! then lay it out in the sun for a few hours    might need to iron it a few times  !  also when fitting  heat it up with a hair dryer as you go & strech

same method applies to vinyl tops  iron it  also before fitting

stretching it in place is good enough... HEADLINERS ARE LOT STRETCHED!!! you can't imagine how much

put it down the sun a little bit after mountng job will help a little bit, but honestly, and trust me... stretching the headliner will dissapear any folding line.

Lay it out in the driveway in the sun. Any creases/wrinkles left will disappear once it's installed but, if you have to, a heat gun can be used (carefully!) to tighten problem areas.
