Original 400magnum... I'll keep the numbers matching 400 in there, but may do the stroker thing when the time is right.

because underneath the intake, the engine is still a 340 or 440... carburetion is irrelevant.. poll is for displacement only.

You need a "NONE" option because at the moment I am lacking a motor for my 74.  But on the bright side I plan on putting a 440 six-pack in her!

Currently a 383 because that is what was in it when I bought it.

It will eventually have a HEMI between the fenders.  Just don't know what size yet.

The Charger has its original 318 and 727 and its gonna stay that way. I bought a 440 and 727 for it, but Ive decided to sell it and just rebuild the original motor and trans.

My 75 Swinger has the original 225 in it with just over 100k and Ill keep it in there until it blows all to hell. Its great on gas. I have an extra 225 and trans. settin around Im gonna build and drop down in it one of these days.

My 73 Duster will also keep its original 318 for now. Maybe one day Ill throw in a 340.  :shruggy:

Supercharged Riot

383

because that's what it came with.
and I cant find a 400
and I dont have any money for another engine.

Im considering keeping my 383 because some people are saying 383's are more rev friendly. i havent fully decided yet

Ghoste

383 because thats what it came with.  If I had the money I'd put a Hemi in it just for the wow factor but realistically maybe a low deck stroker.

69chargerboy

440. I can't afford a HEMI right now.....  :icon_smile_big: I'm planning to buy a HEMI next year..

I will have a 500 wedge in mine because it's a real musclecar, in the Challenger I will put a Hemi because it will be my wifes car.

i am curious. i know 69 for instance.. 318 had 235 hp, a 383 had either 290 or 330 depending on 2 brl or 4 brl, now i got a 73 satellite the other day with it's original 400 in it. rated at 165 hp. now seriously, i know a Big block wouldn't have had literally 165hp, was this REALLY done for insurance purposes, or did they somehow seriously detune a big block motor to where it only had 165 hp? i don't even see how a 400 cubic inch motor can only make 165 hp. makes no sense. anyone?
i live in CHARGERLAND.. visitors welcome. 166 total, 7 still around

They went to net power rating by that time Trav, prior to 72 they were gross.
