Hey gang..
Well, I got the new anti-vibration springs for the front drums of my '68 Charger... Now, the part I wasn't too keen to think about before taking off the old ones; How do you get these suckers on?

The spring has a very high spring coefficient, so they don't stretch very easily..

Thanks in advance..

once i figured out  , went on easy , this is how i done mine !  :icon_smile_blackeye:   , i scratched up my drums though a tiny bit , so had to touch in the scratches after , wear welding gloves , with the drum in the same position as in  your photos Troy but on the floor  ! place spring over one side , or a quarter of the drum ! already hooked togeather  , about 1/2 " from the top edge , then kneel on the edge of the drum to stop that part of the spring moving at the same time work the rest of the spring around the drum from the top/face , by rolling it over the edge , leavering it with a screwdriver as necessary while at the same time , shifting your knees over more of the spring that is now on the top half inch of the drum . once on , carefully roll the spring down into the groove ,  good idea to where eye protection just in case  :yesnod: ,  once you do the first one , the other one will take minutes ,   :yesnod: :2thumbs: :icon_smile_blackeye:

Well, I did it, but with my knees and bare hands.. Utilized the counter-weight to act as barrier to roll back over. So, I just worked it down and around the circumference of the drum.. DId one one day and did the other one today. Tried some of the previously mentioned tricks, but they just didn't work for me... Taadaah... I did it..  :icon_smile_big:

And didn't even scuff up the finish on the drums....
