I like the exit off the highway, I don't the the camera dude could have followed that move very well.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

New York...    usually don't you guys just give people the finger instead of signaling ?

Hey Mike - you ever think about getting into the whole building cars to order thing ? You do have a strong following around the net - maybe it is worth it ?

Another question I don't think anyone has asked....     how much have you been offered for the Charger ? if you dont mind me asking of corse  :shruggy:
1968 Dodge Charger - 6.1L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.55 Sure Grip

2013 Dodge Challenger R/T - 5.7L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.73 Limited Slip

Rolling_Thunder - Hmm... I would have to consider myself a connoisseur in the art of - "The Middle Finger". Having lived in Brooklyn, NYC, Long Island and now Queens I have been exposed to every type of bird flippage known to man, the key is knowing when to simply "flip one the bird" or "flip the bird w/ an explicative" they have two very different meanings.

As for the cars, after building the Daytona I learned A LOT. One is that there is no set formula for building these cars, there are guidelines you can follow but that's about it. There is also the issue of testing them. You can build a car, but in my opinion it will take 5-8 thousand miles of real world and track conditions in these things before all the bugs are sorted out. I drive my cars harder than most and expect them to perform a certain way - it's easier said then done though. I've got over 32k on the Charger since I bought in '03 and I'm thinking of things I can do further improve performance. The Daytona now has about 4k on it and it will take a least another 2-4k before I feel it's truly ready. I like more of the design and spec end of it, but I don't know if I'd actually want to make into a business.

As for the Charger - right after the first season of BR aired I was offered some CRAZY #'s... like $110,000+ on multiple occasions it was nuts. Now though, in this economy who knows. In all honesty though the Charger's the basis for my business and it may in fact be the key car in a new television series that's under development as we speak, so with that being said, to me the car priceless. Plus my 4 year old nephew loves it... and just hearing him say: "Uncle Mike where da' race car?"... is something that is to precious to give up.

And Doug - You are SOOO right... and soon too!

All very good points - making custom order cars takes a ton of $$$ for sure - but after dealing with many of the so called "gurus" on the topic (julius, galen, XV, and others) it would be nice to see someone with real world experience build performance cars =

Be careful man - My charger is on schedual for being completed later this year -  I might just have to take a very long road trip and meet up with you east coast guys...    So far I have only been to CA, NV, AZ, and GA of this country - and I am just itching for an excuse to see more of it   :D

Seeing that charger running down the road with modern cars lets you see immediately how tasteless and poorly designed modern stuff really is.  Just looks like crap stacked up against the charger in my opinion.  The only car I have seen in the last 30 years that even comes close is the new Challenger.  Just saw a red RT in the wild last night in the parking lot at Target.  Of course, it drew a crowd.  But I've got to say that charger really is neat going down the road.  In a few years, I'll be able to do that too.  Video's like that give me inspiration to keep going with my restoration.
