I just saw this movie last nite, because nothing else was on and to my surprise a 69 charger and 70 challenger was in it.

LOL the whole movie isn't worth watching IMO ;)

I mean, it's a good movie for just mind numbing fun, but that's about it, The ending was dumb :-P

love the movie, love the cars. not so much their destruction but the chase sequence was pretty impressive. goes to show there's very few car chases worth a crap being made in hollywood today, even though so many action movies are inundated with them. what i like is that tarantino did it old school, no cg, no 10000 edits and a million different camera angles mtv style.

QT had the right idea, although modern Hollywood has become wholly incapable of doing anything cheaply anymore.  I think that movie cost them like $60 million.


The computer effects are actually more expensive than doing it old-school in most cases.  The cost of the car they wreck is shite compared to dropping $50-100,000 per shot with CGI work.
