I can't help but wonder, where is the camera located to view/get plate info. Did they park in your drive way or side of the street where camera can read plate info.? As well as be viewed clearly due to outdoor cameras are not very clear after 50 feet or so. Dark outside also at 3:22 a.m. yes, making it hard to read IMO.
Gated com. also, how did they get out after getting your car? Wouldn't they be locked in?
Sorry, when it comes to getting info. from every end of matters, the cop in me comes out.

I'm back.  I can drive all day and it won't matter.  I just don't know where to look.    The car is gone and there is nothing I can do about it.    The camera's are day/night camera's and the kind the casino's use. I can zoom in on a quarter in my neighbors garage across the street 150 ft + away if I wanted.  Got to go.  The detective just called and is talking to Lisa, later.

I can't even imagine how I'd feel or what I'd do if that happened to me.  I'm very sorry to hear about it, Chuck.  Just another case of bad things happening to good people.  It's hard for me to understand.  At least you do have some leads (thank God for the camera).  Otherwise, you'd have nothing to go on.  I'm not far from NV here in Cali, so can keep a watch if you don't catch them before they try to bring it out this way (if that is their intent anyhow).  Good luck!!  -Russ

Chuck,I don't know about this sence it is April's 1st. But I'm going to take the serious side of this though and say I hope you nab those a holes that took the car and make them pay for it 3 ways from sunday. I know what that car met to you and your family from what I have heard on here. But with you having a video of the truck plate, that should help you out big time. This just makes me sad to hear this and what a worst day to have to let us know on as while.

OK,    The Police spotted my car in East Vegas and a chase started.  That was about an hour ago.  The chase only lasted a few blocks as my car was able to get away.     I know my car is fast but, HOW IN THE HELL CAN A GENERAL LEE GET AWAY FROM THE POLICE IN THE CITY ?    It's bright orange !!!!     The good news is that they got a guy that bailed out of my car and have the name and address of the driver.  That's all I know at this point.  The Detective said that he will be talking to the passenger they brought in after he gets off the phone with me.  He think's these guys are just out for a joy ride.      The plate on the truck came back stolen, go figure.

Like others, I feel sick to my stomach reading this. Sounds like you may be close to getting her back hopefully. And when you do, i hope there is little or no damage. Very , very sorry brother. Dont know you and Lisa personally, but have read many, many of your posts. You sound like good folk and I know you LOVE that car. Keep the faith. She will be back.

Another thing I posted in another thread, you guys as well as any of us on here should really consider Lojack or another similar system. Maybe a little pricey(havent checked prices lately), but you could have probably had your car back in 30 minutes or so. This would also give these ass faces less time to drive and possibly damage it. I havent done a boat load of research on these yet, but the little I have done looks like they are worth the money.

We will certainly hold good thoughts for you on this. Best of luck.
