I am very seriously considering applying for Marine OCS after graduation.  I need to get out of my comfort zone and do something extremely challenging.  I'd say the Marines should take care of that!

How much time do you have left in school? 
Are you enrolled in NROTC or PLC(platoon leaders class) or OCC(officer candidates class).  PLC is for more than a year left in school.  OCC is for college seniors or graduates.  Please look into those if you haven't already.

Marine OCS is a screening only(read that as an intense boot camp), to see if you can become a Marine Corps Officer.  It's at Quantico and consists of multiple weeks of screening.  It's either 6 weeks(x2 over 2 different summers) or 10 weeks.  If/when you make it through OCS, then you go to the FOS(follow on school).  That is where you learn the skill set to be an Officer in the Marine Corps.
Don't rule out Navy OCS either.

I have one year left, therefore, should I be accepted I would go through the OCC program.  My school (Missouri S&T - Formerly University of Missouri Rolla) doesn't have a NROTC program, just Army & Air Force. 
I believe they call FOS "TBS" (The Basic School) nowadays.
I have been doing extensive research and have been working with my local OSO.  I am almost 100% sure I want to do this, but like I said, I have to be accepted first!

Well i really dont know. I really just want to stay in school. Cause i mean here is hoow i think about the service, you inroll wait forever to go to basic, get your ass kicked in basic, then get out and get stationed somewhere like north dakota where your boys go into your stomach 250 days of the year.

My sisters husband got stations at minot north dakota and it is like -5 degrees 250 days of the year. There isnt very many nice days up there.
