More aftermarket junk!

Went to fit the hood seal, only to find the cutout didn't match the original. After a bit of cleaning, i decided to reuse the original rubber. So i fitted it using the clips from the new kit. 4 of these broke during fitting.

why cant stuff be made properly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So i had to dig out the old rusty clips, de rust them, zinc plate them and black them. Since picture was taken they have been refitted.

All inall, another waste of money!

Here is my firewall. The vac line currently comes out through a hole just above the A/C "thingy". This is where it was when i took the car apart.

What is the hole next to it for? It did have a choke cable in it. These dont have a manual choke do they?????????????

Or this????????

hi Roger ,  the vacume line for the A/C goes through that bigger hole next to the water valve & the hole its running through at the moment , a gromet going in there from the  in side out !
