So far i have not fitted a single component to the car, so it was time!!!!

Time for some wiper motor restoration.

Starter and pas pump getting reworked too.

Finally got bored of tripping over the k frame so i fitted it to the car. Temporary until the engine is ready.

And, before i strip it, does anyone know if this is the correct alternator for my car? 69, 440 RT/E with AC.

Well, not much progress lately, but a few pics of small parts that i have done.

The engine isn't ready as the crank is bent so that needs sorting first.

Transmission linkages re-rusted and plated.

And a tumbler for cleaning and preping small parts.

And here is my reassembled and restored wiper motor. The red goo is applied as badly as the original, everywhere as well as where its supposed to be!

Starter motor nose restored, and motor housing stripped.

Steering pump totally rebuilt using all new seals, reassembled and painted as well as the brackets.

Starter motor housing painted and steering pump back from a rebuild. Just needs some prep work before painting.

Rather than phosphating bolts, ive taken to Zinc plating and then using a special zinc blackner afterwards. Hopefully this should hold up better than phospate. Heres a couple of K frame bolts.

What did you use on the wiper motor stator if you don't mind me asking?

I zinc plated it with plenty of brightner and then stuck in some yellow chromate and dried it off with a hot air gun.

binned must be trashed and fettle = fixed?..  couldn't work bonnet in there huh?.

I plan on taking my car if I don't come across any negative surprises when I get to drive it. It's a pitty it's the same weekend as Mopar Nationals in Germany.

I changed them for a set of 3.23's. I didn't want the 3.55's. Maybe the wrong thing to do?

Car has cruise control on the build sheet, but its not fitted and never was.
